  • Peter Lawrence built a custom circulation desk for the William B. Ogden Free Library with extraordinary craftsmanship and professionalism. He has a rare ability to interpret architectural drawings, thoughtfully filling in unspecified details and transforming ideas into a cohesive and beautifully executed final product. Throughout the process, he kept us fully engaged with regular video updates, texts, and phone calls, ensuring transparency and collaboration at every stage. His careful attention to the architectural character of our 125-year-old historic building resulted in a desk that looks as though it has always belonged in the space. Delivered precisely on schedule and at a fair price, the finished piece is even more stunning than originally envisioned.

  • Pete is an incredibly talented maker. He brings such passion and skill to his work, and his knowledge of his craft, along with the materials and tools he employs, is exceptional. Pete is not afraid to take on a challenge; his open mindedness, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail make for beautiful products and gratifying processes. He consistently goes above and beyond for his clients. Best of all, he is a kind human who cares not just about his work but about all those he encounters. As an interior designer, I highly recommend Pete. We have worked together a number of times over the years, and I am confident we will work together much more!

  • Peter is always a pleasure to work with! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and very skilled. He’s always able to bring my vision to life and give recommendations to make the final product even better. I would definitely recommend Peter for any woodworking project you have!

  • I had a complex design project. Required lots of skills to install cabinets in an old kitchen that sloped in every direction and a new addition that required finding a design that integrated both houses. Design, materials, function, utility and aesthetics have been outstanding. Rarely can a cabinet maker act as a collaborator, understand your needs and vision and both compliment and add to the final form. Selection of hardware, color, wood grain pulled together an old wonky kitchen and a new mudroom entrance with beauty and utility. My experience was a joy.
